Some of my favourite childhood memories involve friends and family sitting on our front steps devouring a box of ice cream sandwiches. It was so simple a moment but years later I can still feel the cool ice cream dripping down my arm, the sticky wrapper as I’d try to lick it clean and the chocolatey taste of the sandwich in my hand. Looking around, I’d see nothing but smiles all around. When I get a chance now, I try to do the same with my own family. After all, who doesn’t love a good ice cream sandwich?

Thin mint ice cream sandwiches sound very tasty right now. I’m going to get some chocolate cookies and mint ice cream to make some this afternoon. It’s supposed to be very hot today, and something about the color green makes it feel cooler.
