I got lashed and I loved it!

At the recent She’s Connected Conference I had the opportunity to test out a beautiful pair of mink fake eyelashes by ilashme and I LOVED it.

It was my first time trying out a pair and it was a great experience. The technician or Lashionista who applied my eyelashes was friendly, professional and kept gushing over how wonderful they looked.

I especially loved them because of my little known secret. When I was nine years old I used to watch my older sister and mom pluck and shape their eyebrows. Little did I realize it was ONLY their eyebrows they shaped. Off to my room I went one night with a pair of scissors. Long story short; while my eyelashes did grow back, they are still different lengths.

I had my lashes applied early in the day and while they looked glamorous  (I sent at least two dozen women to their stall just by batting my eyelashes :)) after about four hours they felt heavy on my eyes.

I loved the fact that these lashes (that come in a neat little holder) can be reused up to 25 times. They did not however come with the glue required to apply them, nor eye-makeup remover to take them off. Fortunately I was able to go back and ask to have them removed while at the conference, but this is important to note if you’re interested in a pair yourself.

The set I had applied are called Glamour eyes and retail for $59.

I love the concept, I loved feeling pampered and I would definitely bat my eyelashes to have them done again.
