#BTS with @Disney themed GLAD Snack and Sandwich Zipper Bags

I have yet to meet a child that’s not completely ga-ga over all things Disney. My children still can’t seem to get enough them. Apart from the toys and games, they especially love packing snacks and goodies in the awesome new GLAD Snack and Sandwich Zipper Bags, printed with their favourite characters from Disney films.

They loved taking the specially themed bags with them to summer camp. All the kids wanted to know where they could get their own. With back to school around the corner, we can’t wait to pack lunches and snacks in the awesome snack and sandwich bags.

We’ve tested these bags out and can assure they provide the same superior quality that we’ve come to love and expect from GLAD bags, but with fun characters the kids love to show their friends.

Summer’s the perfect time for day trips and local adventures!

My kids love to coordinate their snacks with their GLAD bags when possible. Here are some suggestions they have come up with:

  • Pretzels and giant marshmallows in Olaf GLAD sandwich bags for a Frozen themed day trip.
  • Fresh red raspberries or strawberries in a lightening McQueen Snack bag.
  • Celery and carrot sticks in the Rex the dinosaur Snack bag.
  • A to-mater sandwich in a Mater Sandwich bag (you may want to skip the wasabi).
  • A pizza planet slice of pizza in the Buzz Lightyear bag.
  • Frozen treats in the Anna and Elsa bags
  • and so much more.

I love how versatile these bags are. While they’re known to be great to hold a sandwich or some snacks, they’re equally great when packing for a trip. These are some of the other ways we use our favourite themed GLAD zippered bags:

  • Rolling up socks and undergarments for a trip. Each child gets a bag containing their personal items. They get to choose the character.
  • Q-tips are perfectly stored in snack sized zippered bags.
  • Hair ties, clips and jewellery fit perfectly inside of a snack sized zipper bag.
  • A great tip we used on a recent family Disney vacation was making and freezing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We’d freeze them the night before, that way they’d still be nice and cool when we’d eat them at the park.
  • They’re great for quarantining a stinky diaper when on the road.
  • Wonderful for keeping toiletries separate. (You only need to have a mini bottle of shampoo explode all over your carry on ONCE to learn this lesson).

The options are endless in these durable, fun and whimsical snack and sandwich bags now available from GLAD. Be sure to pick some up for your family and make back to school even more magical. You’ll be glad you did 🙂

What would YOU pack in your Disney themed GLAD snack and sandwich bags?
