I am head over heels obsessed with horses. Always have been, always will be. Growing up, from the age of eleven, I would ride at least once every summer. I would watch equestrian competitions on television and even volunteered to collect manure and cleaned stables at my friend’s grandmother’s estate one summer, in exchange for unlimited horseback riding.

It was only fitting then when my husband surprised me while I was expecting my daughter and secretly arranged to take me to Cavalia in downtown Toronto. I was ridiculously, deliriously, giddy with excitement. It was a magnificent show and I enjoyed every second. I think back to that night and still get goosebumps.
