Share your #WarmWishes with Tim Hortons & you can win!

With the cooler weather, the holiday season around the corner and so much craziness in the world lately, we could all use a little more warmth. Small gestures of kindness can go a really long way in brightening up someone’s day. The kids and I enjoy periodically buying coffee or paying for the car behind us in line when making our Timmies run, helping the neighbours rake up their leaves/shovel their walkway or donating gently used clothes/toys to those in need.

Tim Hortons’ holiday cups are back and to celebrate, they are kicking off the second annual Tim Hortons #WarmWishes campaign as of Monday, November 16!

Entering is simple, Canadians, you can enter the social media contest by sharing your good deeds and acts of kindness on Twitter and Instagram with @TimHortons using #WarmWishes.

The campaign will last six weeks, and there is a new theme each week encouraging Canadians to do a good deed in the spirit of the theme.

The themes are:
Give a little warmth (Monday, November 16)
Connect with Someone (Monday, November 23)
Brighten Someone’s Day (Monday, November 30)
Lend a Helping Hand (Monday, December 7)
Spread Cheer (Monday, December 14)
Give Back (Monday, December 21)

Here’s how it works:
• Post your good deed on Twitter or Instagram mentioning @TimHortons using #WarmWishes.
• Each week, one person will get the opportunity to donate five thousand dollars to the charity of their choice to help spread even more #WarmWishes.
• On top of that, I will give one of YOU who participate in the #WarmWishes challenge a $25 Tim Hortons e-gift card.

Each week we will have a different theme. This week’s theme is give a little warmth. We want to see what spreading warmth means to you! Here are a few ideas: donating gently used coats or blankets, giving someone a hug or buying a coffee for someone.
If any of my follwers tweet or Instagram with the #WarmWishes hashtag and come back here posting the link, they will be entered to win a $25 eCard for Tim Hortons weekly. Unlimited entries, open to Canada. I have six total to giveaway. So come back often and tell your friends.

  8. What a great way to give back! I like to share the warmth by donating winter clothing and coats to local charities and it’s always fun to bless someone else by paying for their coffee.

  11. I absolutely love that they are promoting people to do good deeds! Some of my favorites that I see are Brighten Someone’s Day, Lend a Helping Hand & Give Back! That is so special and also so rare to see nowadays. Love it!

  19. This is indeed a great campaign. I think it is so important to give warm wishes to others especially during the holidays. It is indeed important to many just to think someone is thinking of them.

  26. Tim Hortons is the best!!! Swear my daughter and I are the ones that keep them in business in our town. We are there constantly!
