Bye Bye Germs! Hello #PURELL30 #ShakeOnIt #ad

The kids are back to school, the house is a little bit (okay a lot a bit) quieter and it’s back to routine. One of my least favourite things though is when the kids start coming home with colds, viruses and other bugs. That’s why I give them portable PURELL  Advanced Hand Sanitizer to use throughout their school day.

Giving the kids their own bottles of hand sanitizer and teaching them how and when to use them is a great skill. Like any good personal hygiene lesson, as a parent it’s a good feeling to know your kids are taking steps to protect themselves against the spread of illness causing germs. It’s also one thing I don’t mind them sharing with their friends. My daughter loves passing around her bottle of PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer to her friends before they sit down to lunch.

I was pleased to see hand sanitizer on the list of requested school supplies we received from the school this year. We got the great little portable bottles that clip right on to their school bags and lunch bags. Prevention is better than cure and I’m glad to know my children’s school understands that.

One of the things I do on a regular basis is keep PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer on hand after doing groceries; particularly if I’m picking up meat from the butcher. I always try to get a double bag but worry that there may be raw meat on the packaging, bag or other surface. That’s why I immediately pull out my PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer and feel a sense of relief after I use it.

I’ve recently shared our 30-day Challenge and it’s not too late for you to join too! You simply sign up for it here, commit to using PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer three times a day for 30 days and then enjoy its health benefits. You can qualify to win some great prizes so be sure to check it out!

  1. I have several bottles of Purell laying around. I keep a couple in my car and purse!! They are a must have with the winter days (sickness) coming!

  2. This is actually one thing I did not send my kids back to school with at all. I forgot. My girls usually take some with them and I completely forgot to send any. Well thanks for the reminder. I will grab some and send in tomorrow. Older daughter should have one in her locker at school.
