2015 Chevrolet Traverse #review #ChevyAmsdr
Big, spacious interior, silky smooth lines with gorgeous curves on the exterior and an impressive safety rating. That pretty well sums up the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. It redefines luxury, and brings the fun back to a family car.
I recently reviewed a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse with my family and the kids still have not stopped talking about it. I’d have to say it’s one of the first cars that I reviewed where my kids may have spent more time talking about it then I did. Full disclosure, it came equipped with a DVD player, added technology features like an industry-first front-center air bags, seating for 8, wireless headsets (for the them to listen in peace) while allowing me to make phone calls or listen to my playlist in a peace reminiscent of pre-baby days.
It’s the go to car for Canadian winters. The high seating gives the perfect vantage point to navigate effortlessly around snowbanks. The sturdy traction let’s you feel fully in control in the iciest of conditions and the breathtaking interior finish* is ridiculously hot.
I loved how spacious the Traverse is. There are tons of hidden storage sections allowing you to really store your gear. If you have kids…then you have gear. My kids called them secret compartments, I called them brilliant. I was out with my girlfriend and offered her a ride home afterwards. It was a mind blistering -40 degrees Celsius with wind chill as we walked over to the parking lot. Our feet crunched on the ice and snow. Her anticipation of the hot ride I had been raving about grew with every step. Then, in the silence that you only hear in Canadian winters she screeched “oh wow!” I looked over and said “I know eh?”
My friend has four very active kids who keep her busy. She was giddy with excitement when we climbed into the Traverse and couldn’t stop looking around. She was amazed by the amount of space it offered, the beautiful interior finish and how nice and high the vehicle sits. Judging by her reaction, I’d say I have a pretty good idea what her next vehicle would be, right on the spot.
Overall the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse is a fun, spacious, beautiful vehicle well equipped for Canadian winters. If you’re looking for that family car to load the gang into, throw some skates and toboggans in the back and head out for some winter fun, this is the vehicle you need to get. It definitely gets the CanadianMomEh two thumbs up.

It’s a great vehicle! We were trying to decide between it and the Ford Edge and ended up going Edge, but I liked the Traverse, too!

A nice decent family car is what every family needs we just bought a car when income tax came back and I am so in love with our car so I can imigine the joy you have driving this around town, pretty cool.

I’ve never driven a Chevy before but this looks like something I would totally drive. I might have to take one for a test drive myself.
What a gorgeous car. My husband was looking in to getting something bigger. He spotted one of these at the dealer but we didn’t take it for a test drive.
I would have loved to try this Chevrolet out as well. WOW its such a spacious and beautiful car.
